Classic salad or fruit bowl. This has been given as a wedding gift more than any other piece of serveware in the collection. Also great for serving a bowl of pasta. Elegant as a buffet serving piece, or simply to pass around the table family style.

I wonder about the order of the items. Because the DPs are so expensive, would it make more sense to lead with some of the small bowls first? I know for me, I see the price tag on the dinner plates and feel a little discouraged, like, oh, I can’t treat myself to this wonderful work–it’s only by reading on that I realize, wait, this could be an option for me…does that make sense?
