I like to give every piece of pottery I make a name. This bowl was inspired by a trip to Tokyo where I ate so much delicious udon I had to name a bowl after it. Now, it is quite perfect for noodles of any kind, but it can also be used for a variety of other things.

For breakfast, my son fills it up with cold cereal and milk; another a friend who will only eat his oatmeal in this bowl. I occasionally make hearty soups for dinner and filled with soup, and set it a top a pasta plate (to hold my bread.) A fanatic ice cream lover will have a lot of ice cream to eat with one of these.
